The father of surf guitar: Dick Dale (in the lower left). Dale played a gig recently at a bar in town and I went with some fellow guitar player friends. The bar layout is really strange, and we were in a sort of balony position here, hence the strange perspective. It was a good show; Dale rips pretty hard for a 75 year old. If you are not familar with Dale, think of Pulp Fiction: that iconic song is "Miserlou," one of Dale's biggest hits.
