Electric fields

Notion of a “field” is very general, running deep into many fields of physics.
Examples from fluid flow : one source, two sources, with a ‘sink’ and with a constant ‘external field’.

It is a generic concept for electric charges and fields.   Look at the motion in a field.

An intuitively helpful term: “energy density”.   ( And we can ask ... what is a “force”? )

‘Field’ : feel the force, repulsive and attractive.   Example: how an atom might form.

Interaction of charges: repelling and attracting ... scattering, when repelling and attracting.

The field concept gives rise to a very different way of looking at things.
