Electricity and Magnetism : everywhere

For one thing, living creatures use them

• Pigeons seem to have a compass : ‘magnetite’ in their beaks. (In Nature, and simpler.)
  This seems to work for rainbow trout, spiny lobsters, and turtles, too. (Not to mention whales.)
• The most sensitive living detectors of electric fields : sharks.
  And ... they are good with magnetic fields, too.   (From Elasmoworld.org.)

Capacitors discharge very rapidly: camera flash.   Lightning is another example ...
... and how the car protects us against it.   (It's not the tires or rubber bands!)
Recall laptop power adapter when unplugged.   Traffic light sensors : our usual coil.

Examples are countless.   And we didn't even get to the most widespread phenomenon.
