Dec. 5: Wage and Income statistics from class on Dec. 5

Dec. 2:

• The last exam is on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m. There will be an optional review session on Monday night, Dec. 9 at 7:30-9 p.m. in the regular classroom.
• I will have office hours on Friday, Dec. 6 from 1-2:30 and on Monday, Dec. 9 from 10-3 in Ballard 319.

Nov. 21: We talked last week about government franchise as a reason for monopoly. For a current example, read this news story about the Corvallis Cable TV franchise.

EXAM 2 REVIEW SESSION: Monday, Nov. 11, 7:30-9 in the regular classroom. The exam will cover the second half of chapter 5, chapters 6, 8, 9, 16, 17 and pp. 422-30

EXAM 1: Optional Review session is Monday, Oct. 21 7:30-9:00 in Wiegand 115 (regular classroom). The exam is Tuesday. It will cover chapters 1-4, 7, Ch. 5 to p. 107, and pp. 418-22. There will be class the hour after the exam.

For Thursday, Oct. 16: We will cover only to p. 107 in chapter 5. The rest we will do after the exam. Homework problem 5-8 is also postponed.

OCT. 10: DUE DATE FOR HOMEWORK PROBLEMS 4-2 AND 4-8 POSTPONED. NOW DUE OCT. 17.

Oct. 3: Due Tuesday: "problems and discussion questions" 1-4 (p. 13) and 2-2 (p. 38)
