National Center for Accessible Transportation

Collaborators

A key element of all of the center’s projects is the active participation of collaborators and partners. In an effort to ensure that results are of practical as well as academic interest, the National Center for Accessible Transportation collaborates with transportation providers, user advocacy groups, manufacturers, and regulatory agencies. In all, there are more than three dozen different companies and agencies participating. They review program direction, monitor progress, assist with idea generation, and provide advice on the development of implementation strategies. In addition, NCAT has partnered with the Oregon Institute on Disability and Development at OHSU .
