Arup Indra

About the PI


Arup K. Indra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences jointly at OSU and at OHSU, holds an adjunct appoint to the Department of Dermatology at OHSU as an Associate Professor and is a member of the prestigious Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU. He earned his Masters degree from Calcutta University, a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology at famous Jadavpur University, India and did a Post Doctoral training with renowned molecular biologists Professor Pierre Chambon at Institute of Genetics, Cell and Molecular Biology  (IGBMC) in Strasbourg, France. He was later a Research Scientist in Pierre’s group working on collaborative projects with Deltagen Inc. for generating genetically engineered mouse models, came to OSU in 2005 in a tenure track position and to OHSU in 2010.
