Mathematics Learning Center (MLC) Computer Lab

Last updated Monday, January 29, 2005

The MLC has study tables and testing facilities. The entrance to the MLC Computer Lab is at the South-West end of the MLC. An ONID or a Science account is required to use the MLC lab.

The MLC will probably be closed on Fridays in the Summer, and be on short hours other days. The Lab is generally open when the MLC is open, but it may be open other times as well.

The PC Lab was originally outfitted with 20 Sparcs. These machines were up-graded (some people would say down-graded) to much quicker Windows PCs. The PCs have since been upgraded to faster PCs with 19 inch flat-screen monitors.

There is a very outdated Lab Manual and an introduction to the lab. They refer to the previous PC installation. These documents may be updated soon (or maybe not so soon).
