TeX and LaTeX resources

This site contains hints and solutions for common typesetting problems encountered in teaching and writing mathematics, for example, how to typeset an exam. The emphasis is on simple workable solutions. If you want to get fancy you will have to do it yourself, but I hope some of the information and examples provided here will help you get started.

Most of the solutions and examples here are in LaTeX, rather than plain TeX. This is a matter of personal preference. Modern desktop computers are powerful enough that it is not necessary to restrict oneself to the lean efficiency of plain TeX.
