Description:

To use this plugin, you must have the Windows Scripting host installed on your machine (don't worry, if you have Internet Explorer 5+ or Windows 98,Me,2000,XP you have it.) and a copy of MarcEdit. Ideally, you should save this plugin to the (your path may be different) c:\program files\MarcEdit\plugins directory. When using this plugin, you must first export a set of MARC records from III, then break them with MarcEdit. After breaking the files, open the mnemonic file (broken file) into the MarcEditor. Once the file has been opened in the MarcEditor, simply navigate to File/Plugins and select III_fix. (This assumes that you have registered the plugin with MarcEdit using the Plugin Wizard.
