Hello, and welcome to my website for trumpet instruction with a schedule of my performances and other information.

Here is Ken’s music bio:

Ken Saul, principal trumpet with the Corvallis/OSU Symphony, received the Bachelor of Music in Performance from San Francisco State University where he studied with Joseph Alessi, Sr. He continued his music studies in composition at SFSU and at the Juilliard School. Ken also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from OSU and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from NTU. He is a senior engineer at Hewlett-Packard and is an instructor of trumpet at OSU.

 

Ken gives frequent clinics on brass playing and has soloed with the OSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Willamette Valley Concert Band, and in various recitals.
