I attended Machine Reading Phase 3 kick-off meeting and
jointly organized Student Summit
at Seattle, WA. I presented a poster on "Mention Model for
Learning Rules from Incomplete Examples".
December 3, 2010 :
I successfully passed my Ph. D Qualifying Exam. I prepared
a review paper on
Multi-label Learning. In addition, I had oral exam on
research and course works.
June 1, 2010 :
I attended NAACL'2010
at Los Angles, CA. We had a paper in
Formalisms and Methodology for Learning by Reading (FAM-LbR)

We (my wife and myself), finally moved to Corvallis, Oregon!
New life at Oregon State
University for both of us.

After a vacation for about most eventful two month, I resumed

I am at Dhaka, Bangladesh, with my family and friends. After
more than 2 years I am with my family, its really fun to be
back to "Home Sweet Home".

I successfully defended my Masters thesis on "Robust Modeling
of Dialog Acts using Language and Speech". I was really glad
to have Dr.

of Memphis, in my thesis committee.
July 24, 2008 : I have been awarded Herff
Fellowship, awarded by Herff College
of Engineering, The
University of Memphis. This fellowship includes tution
fees and handsome scholarship for next 3 years.
May 19, 2008 : I joined IBM, Rochester, MN, as an
intern for summer 2008. I worked on Security Automation
(i.e. administration, application and resource sharing,
encryption and audit) project, STAF for Websphere
Application Server performance evaluation using STAX, Java, Jython
April 5, 2008 : Our research paper titled as
"Robust Classification of Objects Using a Sparse Detector
Sensor" got accepted for MLMTA'2008
conference held on July 14-17, 2008.
July 1, 2007 : My first research
