The kayak has been flipped upright so that the deck can be varnished. |

The kayak is complete! The three coats varnish is on, the seat is installed, the hatches are installed with their three pressure straps to hold the seal, the elastic rigging is installed including a small one at the bow where a paddle can be held (an elastic with a hook also holds it by the cockpit) |

The kayak has been done for a while, but on March 19, 21010, we got some nice weather. I put it in the water at Triangle Lake. I lost my balance getting in and almost went in the water myself. After that it was grand to be out, and she proved to be a great craft to paddle. |
