Introduction
OSU Women Studies is pleased to welcome you to Gender and Technology, a course where you will explore women's contributions to technological advances, discuss how technology development may be biased, learn to use technology to further your studies and increase career opportunities, and most importantly, plan and implement an activism project.
This online course will involve discussions about readings, peer reviews of project milestones, delivering projects via a blog, and journaling individual assessment of the planning and blogging process.

- These projects, forums, and reference materials explain the purpose, activities, outcomes, scoring, and provide examples to help you succeed in the course.
- Read and print the Syllabus.
- Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (MacOS) to open the syllabus in a new page before printing.
- Deadlines for each project are listed in the Submit area.
- Introduce yourself in the Discussion Board.
- Tell us what part of the world you come from, why you're taking this course, and what your technology experience and goals are.
- Respond to others' posts to provide a welcoming environment.
