Saturday was a beautiful day
to ride a motorcycle, that is
me at Timothy Lake
Lead by Denise
with Theresa and Karen
and Great Grandma Dianne
We rode to Mt. Hood
where we dined at Timberline lodge
and helped Karen and Theresa celebrate
their Oregon domestic partnership document.
Then they went snowboarding in their leathers! (not really)

and we laughed into the night (or early evening anyway)
A little shopping on Sunday in Washington
enroute to Astoria
where we ate at this waterfront bistro
and watched the sun set on the Astoria Megler bridge
We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express
with great views of the sunset
even though some watched from inside
sipping Jack Daniels
and dancing the night away
while modeling Dianne's new hat
our next motel?
no, Fort Clatsop
Site of the Lewis and Clark camp.
and Sacagawea's too.
A female ranger gave the flint lock rifle demo.
And we saw monkeys in the woods.
A fun time was had by all.
